My professional background includes research on forest fire risk prediction and the impacts of climate change on ecosystems, as well as presenting at national and international symposiums, such as the 17th International Coastal Symposium. I am proficient in environmental science topics, including ecosystems, climate systems, sustainability, and conservation, with strong technical skills in data analysis, climate modeling, and programming using Python and R. Additionally, I have a proven ability to translate complex concepts into accessible knowledge through reports, presentations, and workshops, complemented by excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences effectively.
My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, interaction, and personalization. Each session begins by understanding the student’s prior knowledge and learning objectives, followed by lessons tailored to include practical examples, visual aids, and real-world case studies to make complex topics engaging and relatable. I encourage active participation through discussions and problem-solving exercises, fostering critical thinking and the application of knowledge. At the end of each session, I provide constructive feedback and suggest additional resources or exercises to reinforce the material. My goal is to inspire curiosity and confidence in students, helping them excel in environmental science.
