I have over 2 years of tutoring experience in Biology and Chemistry GCSE, focusing on private tutoring. I've successfully helped many students improve by up to 4 grades. My approach is adaptable; I tailor my teaching style to suit each student's needs. Initially, I assess their learning preferences—for example, visual learners benefit from PowerPoint presentations with diagrams. I prioritize flexible scheduling and effective time management to accommodate students' availability. Throughout sessions, I integrate exam-style questions to build confidence and ensure students feel comfortable asking questions. I also like to provide a picture of the specification that highlights what we will be covering at the start of each session as I believe that it is important to help the individual know the importance of the topic and how it fits into the specification. I am happy to also set homework free of charge as I believe this can be beneficial to the individual and is another way to ensure that they fully understand the topic.
