Advert description
During the summer holidays as well as on weekends, I am passionate about building the confidence of other students such as people younger or around the same age group as me. Also, in my opinion as a 17 year old student, I think I will be a reasonable candidate to consider as I think the reliability factor is highly valid in this case and teaching English to other fellow students will be rewarding for both myself as well as my student/s. By teaching students with grammar skills as well as other skills according to their level, this will assist the students with opening up their future opportunities with various professions with English being a prevalent language to be familiar with. With this necessary advantage of being familiar with English, this can enable the speaker to feel more able to participate and contribute in discussions, in work or on social media platforms. In addition to this, my students can openly discuss and outline their main topics and areas which they would like to cover in our lessons, while also sharing any queries, worries, or doubts they may have at any time. This is because, I would like to ensure my students understand everything being covered in these lessons and are not just being confused and later on upset. Also, by applying to this rewarding profession I am coming into this new field with a fluency of English and an adequate understanding of Arabic, as I am originally from Iraq, however I have grown up here in England for most of my secondary education. However, beforehand, I spent my primary education in Dubai in a British school. Therefore, I have always been surrounded by the British language.
In my lessons I plan to structure these in my timetable according to my student/s's differing interests. Whether they would like to cover introductory grammar skills including correct use of punctuation, writing on the left to the right (Some languages, like Arabic for instance, may begin from right to left), and other grammatical skills.
