I am a current deputy headteacher who wants to reach a wider range of students that are willing to go the extra mile to get the best English Lanagauge and Literature grades that they possibly can. Having taught for over 14 years, teaching is my passion.

My approach to tutoring is very much the same as my approach to lessons but with a highly personalised approach. You can expect to receive (as a minimum); 1. A structured plan for each session before we get started. 2. Regular assessment opportunities within each session to ensure solid and deep learning is taking place. 3. Opportunities for re-teaching any aspects or skills that you may not have understood first time. 4. A quick recall task each session to see what you can remember for our previous session. 5. Links to the specific mark schemes for English Language and English Literature so that you know where to pick up vital marks in your exams. 6. The opportunity to explain what you would like to cover during our next session, linking it to the work that you are completing in your English lessons at school.
