Advert description
Hello,
If you have found me here then chances are you are looking for someone to help you write and report better or learn to read, write and speak Hindi and English, both of which I have a command on. That's what I am here for. I have three years' worth of field reporting and writing. I worked as a journalist in India and am currently a storytelling and communications officer with a social enterprise. I hold a Masters degree in critical media and culture studies and a Bachelors's degree in Media studies with a focus on Journalism and have been working on the ground and in newsrooms for the last 6 years. I have tutored many adults in English, Hindi and journalism and have experience delivering lectures to university students and organisations on responsible storytelling and ethical journalism. I have also taught primary school children from underprivileged backgrounds in India through 'Teach for India' organization. I have also worked with women in skill development and income generation programmes in rural northern India. I have also effectively been an editorial coordinator for GoUNESCO, handling a team of interns and editing their content on culture and heritage.
I aim to help you to understand and collate your thoughts and pour them out on paper, such that you are not just comprehensive and coherent with your content but also manage to create a picture with your words. I am quite easy to approach and believe in teaching through hands-on assignments that are fun and enriching.
