Chemistry tutor providing tuition for GCSE and A/Level students

I have a commendable teaching track record having been a Chemistry Lecturer since 2001. My teaching career started with teaching GCSE Maths at the Newham College in East Ham in 2000 upon completion of PGCE. In 2002, I moved to then the Redbridge College and now the New City College as a Lecturer in Chemistry and Lead Internal Verifier within the Science Department.
I acquired extensive experience as Programme Leader and Lead Internal Verifier. Some of my responsibilities included managing units’ assessments and internal verification of different qualifications, developing assessment and verification plans, training assessors and other colleagues appropriately and ensuring high level of quality assurance within the department.
My duties also entailed managing my own workload effectively, prioritising, using own initiative, evaluating, reflecting on the work done, and exercising a level of leadership through delegation of duties to other colleagues. Not the least, I coordinated assessment through regular tracking across the study area, keept records of achievements, ensured informative, constructive and regular feedback to learners. I am a self-motivated individual with learner-focused and productivity-based mindset.
