Advert description
I have gone through the 12-months training "Deutsch Lehren Lernen" (learn to teach the German language) of Goethe-Institute in Berlin and have completed the course with the mark "very good". This training promotes a very modern way how to teach German as a foreign language. Most important is that students are allowed to speak by themselves as much as possible, without much focus on perfect grammar, and that they learn to speak in matters that are important for them (for example, going to a shop with the aim to buy something but need to ask the shop employees about the item; sending an SMS to a friend in Germany; reading a prospectus of a proposed sightseeing tour; applying to a German university to register for studies and so on). Teaching must be focused on the particular interest of the student in Germany (visit friends, study over there, seek for job etc.)
I am a medical doctor and can teach medical German, too, which is necessary for nurses or doctors who want to work in Germany and have to proof their language skills in a Fachspracheprüfung ( telc ).
