I can teach any lessons related to materials science and engineering

This position matches my career interests and is strongly compatible with my skills and experience. I bring a combination of an extensive academic and industrial background in materials science and manufacturing technology and a strong, practical work experience in research and analysis. I have a PhD from a very reputable university in Sweden (see resume for details) and over 12 years experience of working at different industries and research centres. I have long experience mentoring and supervising students and labs and over two years lecturing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The details of the courses I have taught are given in the CV. One of the most rewarding aspects of an academic position is the opportunity to teach and interact with students. Teaching is one of my major motivations to apply for a position at the universities. I believe that the knowledge we acquire as researchers is only valuable if it is shared. I have always enjoyed teaching and I look forward to this aspect of my academic career. Besides teaching courses, working with students individually as a project advisor is another aspect of academic carriers. I enjoy training students and guiding them through a significant research problem to its completion. In my academic career, I have supervised graduate students, offering technical and scientific guidance and ideas and helping them refine and explain their projects.
