Teaching Methodology: I understand that everyone has a different way of learning and I am able to adapt my approach to tutoring to each specific student. Being able to adapt to student needs means that I am able focus on a student’s strengths and weaknesses throughout any sessions. I have helped many students in Maths and strive to continue helping students. In order to gauge the level a pupil is at, it is preferred to take a diagnostic test in the first lesson. This will help me as a tutor understand strengths and weaknesses of a student. After the first session, an action plan will be put into place to ensure quality learning and tutoring. Lessons will include application of concepts through hands-on exercises with feedback as the student works through them.
