I can creatively and purposefully inspire Primary Learners.

I will teach with expertise through modelling, guidance and bespoke task setting. I have been involved in education for over 35 years as a Class Teacher, Senior Leader and Headteacher. For the past 14 years I have been a University Lecturer in Primary and Early Years Education teaching on undergraduate and post-graduate teacher training programmes. I am passionate about teaching KS1 and KS2 children the Computing curriculum and enjoy creating a variety of learning resources to facilitate the development of knowledge, skills and understanding. In the course of my career, I have written two children's books, a mathematics interactive resource linked to coordinates and three original musical plays. I recognise that the best learning takes place when a positive relationship, based on mutual respect, has been established between a teacher and a learner.
