I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, where I achieved straight distinctions, and I earned my Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours, showcasing my commitment to excellence in academia.

But my story didn't start there.

Prior to lecturing in universities I worked in counter-terrorism policing where I was commended for innovation, and later recognised for outstanding contribution to an investigation with international and geopolitical significance, so I bring invaluable expertise in handling high-pressure situations and navigating complex challenges. It was in this environment that I gained training qualifications and coaching and mentoring certifications which I put to good use in a front-line setting.

Prior to policing, I gained invaluable experience in the personal development of others within the outdoor education sector, harnessing the transformative power of nature and stepping out of one's comfort zone to facilitate growth and self-discovery.

Furthermore, I bring a unique perspective to coaching, drawing from my training in performing arts. This diverse skill set allows me to tailor my approach to each individual, fostering creativity, confidence, and personal growth.
