Cambridge Educated & London's Youngest Councillor - Tutor & Mentor

Advert description
My passion for tutoring stems from my own journey—growing up in care and overcoming barriers to achieve the highest grades throughout school. I know first-hand how the right support can transform a student’s confidence and aspirations. That’s why I mentor students not only to excel academically but also to break into prestigious institutions like Oxford and Cambridge, helping them navigate entrance exams, personal statements, and interviews.

I have successfully tutored students in Politics, Sociology, Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Religious Education, across AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, and Cambridge exam boards. My approach is structured and student-focused, breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and tailoring lessons to individual learning styles.

A typical session begins with a quick recap of previous material, followed by targeted discussion and interactive problem-solving exercises. We then apply knowledge to exam-style questions, focusing on technique, time management, and deeper critical thinking. I also provide tailored revision plans, mark work with detailed feedback, and set personalised goals.

Many of my students have gone on to achieve A grades, secure places at Russell Group universities, and significantly improve their confidence and performance*. Seeing their growth and success is why I love tutoring—I don’t just teach content, I equip students with the skills and mindset to think independently, aim higher, and achieve beyond expectations.
