Biology tutor ready to teach students of all ages!

Hi, I'm Rosie, I am currently in my second year at Imperial College London studying biology and so far I have achieved a first in all my modules. Previously I studied for my A levels where I achieved A* AA in biology chemistry and psychology. Having recently completed my school education I know how challenging it can be and that's why I want to become tutor to try and make it that little bit easier.

As a sixth former I tutored GCSE students in biology, chemistry and physics giving me some insight into the kind of help students require including help with exam style questions, specific topic questions and the understanding of key theories in the sciences. I was also a mentor for younger students so know the kind of support and encouragement students need.

In the My Tutor session students would be provided with revision sheets, quizzes, and exam style questions on topics they struggle with and as well as the support and discussion in the session itself. I also understand how exam practice and being able to answer applied style questions is a crucial part of achieving top grades in both GCSE and A Levels so this would be an integral part of the sessions as it is a great was to consolidate knowledge and become more equipped for exams.
