Award-winning concert pianist offering professional & high level piano lessons

A graduate of the Royal College of Music with BMus & MMus degrees, Yinzhi Yuan won 1st place in the College’s most prestigious prize, the Chappell Medal, in 2019 as the youngest participant. He had garnered numerous accolades in international piano competitions, including 1st place in the International Medtner Competition at Heidelberg and 3rd place in the Magnus International Liszt Piano Competition. He played recitals across the UK and Europe, including London, Manchester, Brexton, Salzburg, Heidelberg, Mallorca, among others. His outstanding recital at the closing ceremony of the International Piano Festival Canyamel was praised for “dazzling virtuosity and maturity with an eclectic program” (Faxdepera, 2023).

Yinzhi started teaching in 2019, and since then, 90% of his students have achieved Merits & Distinction results in their ABRSM exams. His students also succeeded in auditions for esteemed music institutions, including Guildhall, Trinity Laban, Goldsmith, the University of Manchester, etc. Yinzhi is a passionate and dedicated teacher whose teaching style features comprehensive instruction in essential techniques and aesthetic understanding via the integration of theory, aural, and harmony practice.
