I am amicable, friendly, supportive, and quick to learn new skills. I find developing others to be motivating.

I do not have experience in teaching as such, but I have spent a lot of time leading, coaching and developing younger people both in a professional environment and through sport. I have leadership qualifications, and coaching qualifications in both football and tennis. I would say my teaching/coaching style is to really ensure that the learner understands the how and the why - not just the what. For example, if I am coaching someone on Microsoft Excel, I will get them to understand the ins and outs of a formula and ensure they can explain it back to me using various examples. A good analogy I often think of is, there is no point just giving learners the all the bricks and a single manual to build a house. You need to give them 5 bricks, and teach them all the different ways and structures to fix them together, then they can build any house without a manual.
