Through my life, academic, and work experiences, I have had several opportunities to nurture and demonstrate my leadership skills. This has opened up a plethora of opportunities for growth in my life, which is why I find it important to help youth in their leadership journey. Young people need to consider themselves as leaders from a young age, and they need the space to define what leadership means to them. By teaching them how to communicate effectively, lead with empathy, and be purpose-driven, they are more likely to reach their full potential. I have experience with young people in many settings such as summer camps, ESL schools and career coaching at A-Levels. I emphasize a student-led approach, highlighting that they are the stewards of their future. With a firm and encouraging communication style, I find that I can foster a great relationship with most of my students and that I can achieve the desired learning outcomes.
