After studying Maths, Biology, and Chemistry at A-Level, I am looking for the opportunity to tutor a range of GCSE and A-Level sub

I seek to offer a highly personalised tutoring experience that caters to my students' needs. I aim to understand my tutees' unique concerns and explain concepts simply with many alternative approaches. As someone who has experienced obstacles to my own learning, I have a lot of empathy for students struggling with their learning, particularly those with learning differences and endeavour to develop an approach that works for them. I currently teach from Year 7 upwards with a speciality in exam preparation.
In terms of experience, I participated in a tutoring scheme in secondary school which allowed students from Year 7 to Year 9 to ask any questions they might be struggling with in any subject they wished. This allowed me to continue to engage with my GCSE content during my A-Level years and taught me how to listen to and understand the particular needs of each student at a given moment. I also tutored family and friends of family, allowing me to engage personally with my students and develop a specialised teaching approach.
I was a strong student in secondary school (Queen’s College, London) achieving A*s and As (and equivalents) at GCSE and three As at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Particularly of note, I received a 9 in GCSE Mathematics and 98% in GCSE Religious Studies. I currently study Biological Sciences MSci at UCL. I teach GCSE English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Religious Studies, and Geography. I teach A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
I offer one hour and two hour sessions and am free on weekends, after 5pm, and whenever my university timetable permits. I am free to do in-person and online lessons. I have a DBS pending.
