Hugo has participated in masterclasses and worked with Frans Helmerson, Gary Hoffman, Maria Kliegel, Steven Doane, Johannes Moser, Márcio Carneiro, Sung-Won Yang, Colin Carr, Amit Peled, Denis Severin, Peter Brüns, Xavier Gangnepain, among others. Recent chamber music engagements included piano trios, Quatuor Aquarelle which has been accepted for the Frost ASSET scheme at the Royal Academy of Music in 2018, masterclass from Hartmut Rohde, and coaching with the Doric String Quartet. In the 2021 and 2022 season, Hugo performs as an intern of the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa (OML), under the musical and artistic direction of maestro Pedro Neves.
