I have taught more than 5000 students from East & South Asia, the Middle East, North & South America, Africa and Europe in the past 14 years. This has made me very comfortable with people from different cultures and I have enjoyed the cultural exchanges we have had. Over the years I have learnt how to make my students feel comfortable quickly from our first meeting, so they can feel free to be their authentic self with me. It is important to me that my students feel free to make mistakes knowing they will not be judged or made to feel embarrassed. My love and enjoyment of meeting new people has enabled me to be a teacher for such a long time. I enjoy imparting my knowledge of the English language through conversation practice and online learning resources related to the student's ability and goals. I believe it is always important for students to try to complete a given exercise or task first before being given the answer, even if you get the answer or answers wrong, it's still important to try. I gently and calmly correct the mistakes you make by modelling the correct way to say a sentence, pronounce words or write text. In my classes, you do not need to feel ashamed if you make some mistakes in speech or writing, after all, we have all learnt through making mistakes and being corrected by those with more knowledge on a matter to help us improve ourselves.
