I have been consistently praised throughout my career for my ability to form good relationships with students, and my empathetic and calm nature when working with them. As well as spending a number of years as a class teacher in school settings, I have spent the majority of my career working one to one to support students' learning. I have worked as part of the Learning Support Team at an arts university for the last eight years - supporting students in both Further and Higher Education with a range of learning and mental health difficulties on a one to one basis. I therefore have a wealth of experience that means I'm able to cater sessions with students to each of their individual needs, with a focus on them gaining confidence in their studies.
