I’m Jasmine! A vivacious and inquisitive tutor for determined, action-oriented students :)

Hello, my name is Jasmine, and I am thrilled to offer personalised tutoring services for A-Level Psychology. I’m currently pursuing a BSc in Psychology with Education at University College London. I achieved A*’s and A’s in my A-Levels and am currently predicted a first-class honours in my degree. Serving as a Social Media Manager and Director of School Engagement for a charity, I've honed my skills in communicating effectively across various platforms and engaging with diverse audiences. I have taught students ranging from age 5 to 18, both nationally and internationally. I spent five weeks in Romania, teaching English and Psychology, and travelled to Greece to educate Turkish refugees in English. These experiences have imbued me with a profound ability to connect with individuals facing language barriers and learning challenges. I visited Kenya, teaching in schools and orphanages for a month on two separate occasions in the past year. My experiences have shown me the immense value of personal tutoring, having been guided by mentors myself. As I look forward to becoming a full-time teacher after completing my PGCE next year, I am eager to continue giving back by guiding the next generation on their educational journey. A personal note; My own educational path took an unconventional turn when I left school at 14 due to severe bullying, missing the opportunity to sit my GCSEs. This experience has deeply informed my approach to teaching, making me acutely aware that students have diverse learning abilities and social experiences that can impact their education. I offer a safe, open and friendly space for every student but most importantly propelling them towards academic success.
