Advert description
My name is María Escobar Sánchez, I am a Spanish teacher with a background in Education and experience in multicultural environments. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and I have teaching experience both in Spain and Ireland, where I have perfected my language skills and my inclusive approach.
Throughout my training and practice, I have developed a great sensitivity to the diversity of learning styles and paces. In order to respond to this diversity, I completed a Master's degree in Attention to Diversity and Special Educational Needs, which allows me to adapt my methods to students of different ages and levels. I am committed to offering a personalised learning experience, where each student can progress at their own pace and with confidence in the language.
My experience at Happy Phases Montessori School in Dublin, where I worked for a year, gave me a solid grounding in active and innovative methodologies which I apply in my classes. I use strategies such as cooperative learning, gamification and the communicative approach, which allow students to practice Spanish in an interactive and contextualised way.
I am organised, dedicated and motivated to create a positive learning environment in which adult and adolescent students feel safe to participate and learn. In addition to my passion for teaching, I enjoy reading, travelling and exploring new educational methodologies.
