As a patient and dedicated tutor, I believe in creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in the material. I strive to make every session a two-way conversation, encouraging students to talk through their thought process and ask questions without hesitation. In our sessions, we will start with a brief review of previous material with past paper exam board questions to ensure there is a good level of understanding before we move onto the next topic. This approach ensures there is a solid foundation which we can build on. I am happy to either take the lead in planning lessons which take students through the course material or to focus on specific requests of topics within the syllabus. I specialise in tutoring biology and chemistry, subjects which I have achieved top grades in at the GCSE and IB level and I am studying neuroscience at UCL which equips me with the knowledge to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner. I have over a year of teaching experience and have tutored many students, guiding them through GCSE and IB content. One of my notable achievements includes helping a student improve their grade in GCSE biology from a 5 to a 9.
