Math Lessons for primary and secondary school children of all abilities

I will use modelling as an instructional strategy as well as a variety of other teaching methadolgies to teach to each individuals strengths. Modelling involves showing the student a solution to a question while explaining it step by step, while the student copies your actions. The student will then get an opportunity to do a question for themselves as independent practice, I will check the question in order to check for understanding and guide the student to the correct solution where they are incorrect.

Each lesson will begin with a short greeting before a hook to get the students attention and focus immediately. I would then list the learning intentions of the class.

At the end of the class, I will leave a small bit of time to revisit these learning intentions and evaluate the success criteria of the class.
