Hi, my name is Kathryn Haughton. I live in Manchester in the UK. Yes, this is famous for the football team Manchester United. In 2005 I worked and moved to a small but beautiful island the Middle East, Bahrain. I firstly worked at a language center, and then worked at Bahrain Polytechnic as a Lecturer.

I qualified as a Further and Adult Education tutor for more than 20 years ago teaching different subjects, such as English, IT and Information systems.

The best part of being a teacher is the interaction with my students. I like to give my students creative and enjoyable challenges during my lessons, so that I can help them to be the best they can be. I really enjoy the creative process of teaching and learning. I like to make my students the center of the lessons, making them fun, enjoyable, and creative.

I am looking forward to meeting new students from around the world, getting to know you and hoping their experiences can be shared and incorporated into the lessons.
