I find that personal tutors are the best way to target areas that students are struggling with the most. I am open to discussing anything relating to Psychology or the mathematics behind the subject. As such, lessons will be structured around areas that in most need of improvement. I find that a conversational approach is beneficial to break down some difficult concepts into a format that is easily accessible to everybody.
If students wish to go over work to evaluate their strenghts and areas of improvement, this is also encouraged. Learning from previous work is a great way to prepare for future assessments. Working together and encouraging students to critically evaluate their own work will also be a focal point of sessions as these skills are critical in all areas of study.
My experience in psychology comes from my work at university, often engaging with my own lecturers to produce high-quality work beyond the requirements of my course. This experience has put me in a position to understand what it takes to elevate student's knowledge to the next level.
My specialty in mental health is also a key area of interest. Whilst my skills are not specific to this field, I am open to cooperating alongside students and companies to develop perspectives around how mental health should be approached. Developing effective mental health practises is crucial, whether you are a student or a company collaborating with employees, and it is a passion of mine to help improve mental health literacy.
