Advert description
I am Madhav Kunnath Madhusudhanan, a dedicated microbiologist currently pursuing a Master's in Cancer Biology. My journey in the field of science has been marked by a strong commitment to innovation in cancer treatment and a range of valuable experiences.
During my internship at VJ Biotech, Coimbatore, I had the opportunity to isolate and screen protease-producing organisms. I optimized growth conditions, performed enzyme extraction, and explored industrial applications for these enzymes. This experience not only strengthened my laboratory skills but also ignited my passion for research.
As a Molecular Biology Intern at Omicsgen Life Science in Liverpool, I gained hands-on expertise in nucleic acid isolation, Sanger sequencing, cDNA synthesis, real-time PCR, and gene cloning. I became proficient in using essential laboratory equipment and managed a database related to antimicrobial resistance.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, where I honed my skills in microbiological techniques, microscopy, and molecular biology methods.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Cancer Biology and Therapy at the University of Liverpool. My research project revolves around differentiating true progression from pseudoprogression in glioblastoma patients using Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DCE-MRI). This project has been an exciting journey that has not only expanded my scientific knowledge but also improved my communication and scientific writing abilities.
