Advert description
I am a psychologist keen I helping children to develop their motor skills as a precursor to school or alongside learning.
I have completed a bachelors in psychology and masters in cognitive neuroscience. This has lead me to understand the complexity of the developing child’s mind. Many motor skills are a precursor to academic learning such as writing. Not only does working on motor skills help development, it also improves balance, coordination and importantly, confidence and self esteem.
I have a breadth of understanding of Autism, ADHD and similar neurodiversities. I can work with children to help build confidence, self-esteem and communication on their level. Having someone willing to work with them as opposed to push them into a square peg, can be innovative for children to bloom and grow in confidence.
