MA (Hons) & DELTA M1 Qualified English Tutor for Beginners to Advanced: IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE Preparation

My name is Nikita Khorunzhiy, I am a highly motivated qualified professional (MA (Hons) in Philology) with extensive knowledge in the field of teaching English as a foreign language. Having passed CPE (A), I have hands-on experience in preparing for Cambridge exams and IELTS. I strive to address the needs of my students and make our lessons not only productive but also engaging and fun. Such an approach has produced outstanding results: so far more than 70 students of mine have successfully passed their English exams, got a job in an international company, migrated or applied to universities abroad.

There are two things I'm really passionate about: foreign languages and tea. Frankly speaking, it was the convergence of them both that drove me to work as an EFL teacher in China in 2018.

This trip has greatly influenced my outlook on life. I strongly believe that motivation and positive attitude are vital in order to achieve success. In addition to that, I came to better understand the problems people face when mastering a foreign language and possible ways of overcoming them and getting rid of the so-called 'language barrier'.

I try my best to address the needs of my students and make our lessons not only productive but also engaging and fun. In my opinion it is absolutely vital to build a good rapport with students as it helps to establish a context that positively influences learning. Students shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes as they're an important part of the learning process. Getting the message across is what really matters.
