Holisitic Art Teacher, looking to aid exploration of ideas and teach diverse processes

I am a First Class Fine Art Graduate from Bristol who has recently relocated to Liverpool. I have a background in Teaching, having worked with children for 8+ years including 2 positions in schools as a 1-1 SEN support.

I have a specific interest in art and it's therapeutic benefits, particularly through drawing and our subconscious. I am in the process of organising art workshops for children which explore world-building and story-building processes: this explores dissecting our drawings and bringing to life props, masks or characters from our subconscious, to then explore theatrical embodiment practices. This helps to process otherwise silenced feelings and tensions in our bodies, as well as help raise more self-awareness between our bodies and our psyches.

My area of artistic expertise is within Textile Arts (Embroidery), Film making (Film Editing and Sound Editing), Sculpture ( Papier mache, Clay), Drawing and Painting as well as Performance. I am willing and capable of altering art classes benefitting to the individual.
