I think students learn best with one to one lessons, however I can teach small groups as well. I like to find out about the students music taste and let that direct the lessons. It's good to get them excited about emulating a style they love to listen to and then expand from there.

I focus on creativity to bolster enthusiasm; I dedicate a section of each lesson to writing original music together, helping them identify with their instrument as a tool of expression and not just something to become proficient with.
