Advert description
I am currently a second year medical student, but enjoy teaching in my free time. I performed consistently well throughout GCSE and A level biology, and continue to have a passion for the subject. Biology still plays a vital role in my learning, and I find that teaching students the basics is a great way to keep on top of my own learning.
I focus on teaching students the knowledge required by the specifications, as well as key exam techniques for a subject like biology. I am particularly familiar with AQA as an exam board.
Lessons will be online as I have found it is more convenient and comfortable for students, but will still be engaging and focused on the individual’s strengths and weaknesses. I will be available in between sessions if there are ever any past paper questions you are struggling with, or you would like to focus on a particular topic in the following lesson.
A typical session would begin with some form of active recall or a practice question. Then we would go through a section of content, at a pace confortable for the student. We will finish up with any questions or clarifications on anything you are not quite sure on. At the end of a unit, we’ll do a revision session going over the entirety and focused questions to solidify your learning.
