Bass Guitar Tutor teaches students of all ages

Hello! My name is Jen and I am a session bass guitar player with over 10 years of professional experience. I have performed in a wide variety of bands, playing genres such as pop, rock, soul, jazz and folk, and using techniques like finger-style, slap, palm muting and picking.

I am eager to share and teach my knowledge of this wonderful instrument and inspire my students to have fun whilst playing and in turn, excell as a bassist and performer!

I also teach music theory as it is a pivitol part of understanding the instrument at harder levels.

I believe it's really important to teach with the students goals in mind and so to begin with, I would have a conversation about where they are with their playing currently, where they want to be and what they want to primarily focus on. This is so that we both get the most out of lesson time!
