I understand the need to be fun and engaging for young children, so I aim to limit burnout and ensure a fun, creative space.

Teaching and child-focused therapy are one of my many passions and this is an interest of mine that was progressed during my placement year where I was part of an applied behaviour analysis (ABA) service company. Here, I taught young autistic children of various ages different skills from many aspects of life - including educational. This job role also allowed me to work on my own teaching style which is engaging for all parties involved, creative and involves a lot of reinforcement. Similarly, in a non-autistic cohort, I will explain and demonstrate the skill they are trying to learn, allowing them a try with some guidance, prompting if necessary. It is my belief that practice and spaced repetition is beneficial for you children to remember new skills.
