Advert description
I have a First Class History degree from the University of Lincoln. I graduated in 2021 and my specialist research focussed on Race Relations in the United States. I studied History at GCSE and A-Level and received full marks in my GCSE History exams.
I have work experience in a primary school setting where I delivered History lessons to year 5 and 6 students. Areas that were covered included Crime and Punishment through the ages and World War Two. I also delivered intervention sessions to small groups of children to help with gaps in knowledge where needed.
I currently work at the University of Lincoln as an adviser in the Careers and Employability team. This involves me giving advice to students on job searching, application support and interview tips. I also deliver lectures to students on how they can increase their employability through gaining work experience.
I am very patient and enjoy being creative to help students find different ways of learning. I am happy to listen to the needs of individual students and tailor lessons to suit them.
