Primary School Teacher providing lessons in English, Maths and Science for all ages

Hi there!

I'm Laura, a primary school teacher with over 7 years experience in schools.

I really enjoy teaching and bringing lessons to life. I'm a firm believer in that children learn best when learning is tailored to them specifically and when sessions are delivered in a fun, engaging way.

I am tutoring for the 11+, Year 6 SATS tests, Primary- Secondary school transition, Lower - Middle school transition and in English, Maths and Science.
I have been Head of Year 6 and therefore have a lot of experience preparing children for the 11+, SATS tests and the transition to Secondary School. I have also been Head of KS2 Maths and love bringing maths concepts to life and breaking the more difficult topics down into small, easy to digest, bitesize chunks.

Before teaching in the UK, I was Director of Studies of an English school in China. An amazing experience which really taught me the value of making every lesson fun and engaging.
