I have been working as a teaching assistant in primary school for more than 10 years. Having worked with small group of children, I have developed an understanding and knowledge of the needs of children and how to deal with each one differently. I have always been passionate about Maths and have worked alongside the teachers to improve the levels and understanding of students. At school, I am highly valued staff for the support I provide.
While tutoring:
- I will first assess the student starting with the basics to identify their gaps in learning,
- Once the gaps are identified, I will solidify their knowledge by numerous practice questions.
- Will then provide more challenging questions to make them secure
- Depending on the student, I will then provide them with homework.
