Piano teacher provides piano, music theory & GCSE Music lessons

I have received an offer from University of West London to study Masters Degree of Music starting in September 2024. I able to speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin to teaching, I do face to face and online lessons. My students live in U.K., Canada, China and Hong Kong.

I have over 18 years teaching experience, My students are average two grades growing up per year, I will teaching Piano and Theory together. That why my students also can play the sight reading well. I encourage parents sit and watch together with their children, it will help to know what they learn and how to support their practice at home.

I will encourage students to join competition more than exam, including local face to face competition and international online competition. They can learn from others to improve their performance, increase their competitiveness and strong their self confidence and achievements.

My students no need to take every grading exam, maybe choose one of Grade 2 to Grade 4 level, then Grade 6 or 7, 8 & ARSM level. I suggested students should be learning more about different period and styles pieces. Not only focus on the exam, but they must learn to play more scales, it is also important techniques to help they understand and how to perform.

I am concern about their practicing quality more than quantity, no need set up the practicing time to students each time, I will teach them how to do the high quality work in their practice.
