Jolyon began career in academia teaching biotechnology in a university chemical engineering department, supervising masters and doctoral projects, while researching into processes for advanced manufacturing. Later he was involved in several projects at the interface between industry and academia.

He has acquired extensive experience in industry, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, in both technical and commercial roles, aligning stakeholders to common objectives and vision. Jolyon encourages innovation in his students.

More recently he has been teaching science in a socially and economically deprived school. Jolyon has completed his L3 in Education and Training.

Jolyon wants help people understand science to the highest level and the impact it has on their lives, in order to help them influence and take control of the future.
