I am from Leeds and I like maths

When teaching maths, I start by assessing the student's level to understand their strengths and areas for improvement. I break down concepts using simple explanations and real-life examples, making them easier to grasp. I also incorporate visual aids, such as diagrams and graphs, to enhance understanding. To reinforce learning, I guide students through worked examples before encouraging them to try problems independently. I adapt my approach to suit their learning style, whether they learn best through visuals, practice or discussion. I regularly check their understanding with questions and short quizzes, and most importantly, I build their confidence by being patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout their learning journey.
