‣About me:
⁃I am a second year Physics student at the University of Leicester who has a passion for STEM education and problem-solving.
‣Qualifications:
⁃GCSE Maths: 7.
⁃A Level Maths: A.
⁃University: Undertaking a bachelors in Physics, which involves core Maths modules and problem-solving. I ranked 3rd out of 103 students in first year, achieving 84% (first class).
‣Tutorial Learning Activities:
⁃Lessons will focus on solving exam/class test/homework problems together.
⁃I will guide the student with exam technique advice and tips. I will take the time to ensure the student solidies concepts and forms conncetions between topics.
⁃Explanations will be tailored to the student in terms of pace and style (e.g. using analogies and pictures).
‣Learning outcomes:
After a tutorial, students will be able to:
⁃Confidently answer exam questions logically and efficiently.
⁃Tie together and understand concepts so memorisation isn't needed and new topics are learned quickly.
⁃Think mathematically and appreciate how Maths can be used in daily life and other subjects.
