Γειά σας, my name is Sofia. I am a native Greek . I hold a PhD in Museum Studies & Education at the University of Leicester. I have seven years’ worth of experience teaching Greek as a second and foreign language in the UK as school, university and private tutor. For adults, I have experience teaching at an A1 Level (beginners) and A2 (post beginners) and for children, primary school to GCSE. I teach Modern Greek at the university and in private lessons online currently, having students from all over the world.

I am a strong advocate and adopter of interactive teaching approaches and my aim is to promote learning as an enjoyable process, and to encourage and engage my students with the learning materials.

I enjoy teaching people from different backgrounds, ages and cultures and have a passion for teaching, but learning too.
