Experienced GCSE English Tutor with High Pass Rate

Hi! I’m Tyla, a student at the University of Nottingham currently studying Theology and Religious Studies. I have always wanted to work in an education setting ever since I was in school myself. I love educating and teaching whilst inspiring others and enjoying the role at same time! I am a reliable tutor with experience customising tutoring to suit individual ability levels and I am skilled at conducting engaging and educational lessons through live video platforms and face to face aswell.

I am based in Leicester and I welcome both online and in-person sessions.

I cover subjects including Religious Studies, English Language, Sociology, Psychology and Citizenship Studies at varying levels from primary to A-level.

My knowledge of the curriculum for the subjects I teach are very broad. I have been through the very same curriculum for each subject and know the ins and outs. I have lots of exam experience and resources including practice exam questions.

I have previously tutored voluntarily at a sixth form college teaching A-levels for around a year. I am also familiar with tutoring younger children and have been through training with a large tutoring company and have experience with children from ages 6-18.
