Affordable lessons for Key-stage 2, 3 and 4 (includes year and year 10 foundation and higher tier)

Personally, growing up with strict Indian parents, I had several tutors when I was brought up in India and when I moved to the UK and both of these places taught me a lot of different strict methods in approaching maths problems. During my GCSE and A levels, I had passed all my subjects with grades of B-C and the knee accident I had during my sixth form stopped me from pursuing to be a doctor which I was working towards to become and from that I could not pursue my education for a whole year, I was given to be a teaching assistant to teach years 7, 8 and 9, art and maths.

I had given the kids problem-solving questions and taught them the easiest way to solve the questions and the easiest way to write them down, especially for exam boards that require a particular way to write them down. I also, learnt how the examiners mark the questions which give me a rough idea of what the students would need to write down as a proper answer for the maths questions to make sure they pass.

The lessons itself, I would be giving would be based on the child's and parent's concerns about the child's maths topics. Also, I would let the parents contribute towards the session so that they can understand how their child is learning and their progress during the sessions. I would also, give out homework after each session which would be required to complete for the next sessions and would run through the answers in the next session to see which ones are correct. If there are any incorrect, I would show the student the correct way of approaching the question that way they would know for the next time following that I would immediately give them another question on a similar topic so that they can understand and work through it by themselves.

Within the lessons, I would base the maths with a lot of problem-solving questions as it would help any child to understand the gist of tackling any problem-solving questions. Depending on the level of the student I would like to work the same range of their exam boards and if the parents require me to help the student tackle their maths homework from school or if they have any maths topics from school the child did not understand, I would be willing to help them succeed in understanding different ways of approaching the questions.
