Online Psychology Tutor - Specialist in University Level Tutoring

My name is Dr Raabia. I have completed a PhD in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology, and a BSc in Psychology. I have over four years of experience of teaching psychology undergraduate students at the University of Leeds across a range of modules. I have also tutored and assisted sixth form students via the Access to Leeds program. I am currently working as a Senior Research Fellow (psychologist) and my academic articles can be searched via Google Scholar.

During my PhD, I have taught undergraduate Psychology for over 4 years. I have vast experience of delivering seminars, as well as providing one-one support for students of all levels. My teaching role also involved developing session plans, marking and providing feedback on assignments for a number of different modules. I have also been involved in co-supervising undergraduate dissertation projects for a number of students. I have been involved in supporting students through the Access to Leeds program, by providing one-one tutor support (online and face-face) to sixth form students, and helping them develop assignment questions, and providing marked feedback on drafts to ensure they pass this assignment. All of my students have been successful in passing this program and securing a place for Psychology at the University of Leeds.

I am passionate to help students of all levels including sixth form and undergraduate students. My vast experience of studying and teaching Psychology will ensure I provide appropriate support to help students achieve the best of their potential.
I'm interested in how students can learn in different ways, and will make a genuine effort and work with you, to find a style of teaching that will work best for you. I will help you understand concepts using a range of techniques, improve skills such as reading articles, planning and drafting writing pieces. I work by helping students with a particular piece of work, by going through the purpose of the work, provided marked feedback and suggesting changes to improve their work. This approach helps to improve skills and build confidence. I also follow-up any queries or further questions students may still have.
