I am currently a PhD student in law at the University of Leeds. I have an in-depth knowledge of legal studies; having completed my undergraduate (LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) at the University of Leeds.
Over the course of my Studies, I have been a Law Peer Mentor at the School of Law, University of Leeds-
I offer regular support to undergraduate students, assisting them in the development of their academic skills, helping them to settle in and easing the transition to university life. I also help students develop soft skills build their confidence and network within their University.
By undertaking this role, I also improved my transferrable skills such as interpersonal skills, time management, professionalism, independent working and being reliable.
I have also provided one-to-one private tutoring to law students from different backgrounds with different abilities and study support needs. Therefore I have in-depth teaching experience in different legal subjects such as Contract Law, Criminal Law, Tort Law, Land law, Family Law, Equity and Trust Law, International Law and International human rights Law. I am also able to assist students with legal research and dissertation skills.
