Instrumental tuition on bass, guitar and drums to students of all ages

First study bassist and Leeds Conservatoire graduate with Masters degree in Creative Musicianship and BA (Hons) in Popular Music with 2+ years of experience in teaching guitar, bass and drums to students of mixed age and ability at:

Outside teaching, I've been regularly gigging as a bassist (both original and function bands) in Leeds since I moved here in 2017.

Lessons are tailored to suit each students' goals, whether playing for fun or working through exam grades.

Generally lessons would include topics such as:
Learning specific songs; developing instrumental techniques and styles; music theory; recording and writing own material; providing advice on performing, equipment etc; to playing through music while accompanying students on another instrument to help with getting used to playing music in an ensemble.

I often use technology to aide in lessons - creating individual handwritten digital notes in lesson (music theory, chord sheets, exercises, tips etc) to send to students for home use and practice. I'm also comfortable using DAWs for any potential recording with students.

As a first study bassist, I teach bass for all ability, while on guitar and drums I generally teach beginners to intermediate level. However for drums, I'm unable to teach at my own home due to space constraints, however I'd be open to teaching this locally.

I also have an enhanced DBS certificate on update service and have had safeguarding training via LS18 Rocks and Leeds City Council (Introduction to Working Together to Safeguarding Children Partnership certificate).

Teaching and submitting students for instrument exams on guitar, bass and drums (mainly Rockschool and Trinity)

Active gigging musician with 12+ years of live performance/gigging experience in various styles of projects and settings
