Maths tutor specialising in GCSE maths

Advert description
I'm currently studying A level maths, with a predicted target of an A. I personally loved GCSE maths, the result you achieve is very proportional to the effort you put in and I'd love to help kids shake their dislike for maths. I have prior tutoring experience for tutoring the English language as well as maths to Lower school kids (Year 7s,8s and 9s) but I'd love to start working with older kids who have a specific target grade.
Sana Ashtarirad in a nutshell
I have prior experience teaching maths to children in KS3 and want to expand to older children who have a goal, a specific target in mind. I believe this way my efforts will be put to better use and the students will respond more readily and eagerly compared to lower school children. I have prior experience teaching maths to children in KS3 and want to expand to older children who have a goal, a specific target in mind. I believe this way my efforts will be put to better use and the students will respond more readily and eagerly compared to lower school children. I really enjoyed GCSE maths and the fact that the effort you put in was proportional to the result that you achieved. I believe this is a massive motivation to the students as well, if they've been struggling to see a good mark on a test will help them gain the confidence they need and with that, confidence will naturally come and this will urge them to practise more and strive to get the grade they need. My teaching method is first gaining a feel of what the student knows and doesn't. This doesn't need to be in the format of a test it can happen in a short conversation as usually the topics students like the least are the ones they are least confident in, and most students know their weak points to begin with, however if not, a preliminary test could be taken. From then on, it'll be teaching content in the simplest and most visual way possible, in different ways if needed, and testing that knowledge at the end of that session with questions. Over time we can consolidate that knowledge with starter questions and exam style questions (if it fits the students age). I really hope I get to help some younger students feel more confident and enjoy their maths lessons more!
