Hello! Thank you for reading my profile, I'm Abbie, a postgrad student in Japanese and Chinese translation. I am passionate about teaching and motivating my students to branch out from topics typical at school. My key aims in all lessons are to make steps towards building students' confidence in Japanese speaking, reading, listening and writing.
I strive to ensure my students enjoy each lesson, feel safe in my lesson space and feel comfortable asking and discussing anything about Japan and the language! I plan my lessons to fit each student's learning style and interests like studying the history of manga or diving into the world of Japanese literature (translated into English) - there is something for everyone!

I can help with exam preparation and practice and provide extra support/materials for personal study.
