English specialist with 30 years’ experience: primary

Hi. I am a primary school teacher with 30 years’ experience available for tutoring Year 3-6 pupils in
*writing
*reading
*spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPaG)
*maths.

I am an English specialist and lead both writing and SPaG in my current school (and have done in previous schools) and have extensive knowledge and experience of the content needed to prepare children to be confident in sitting their end-of-key-stage SATs (at the end of Year 6).

If your child needs a bit of a catch-up following disrupted schooling brought about by COVID, illness or relocation, or just needs that little boost in confidence, I can help.

I am happy to tutor 1-1 or in small groups and sessions involving multiple students or 2-hour blocks are discounted.

(I can also help with essay-writing in English literature up to A level, and proof-reading essays in a range of subjects in terms of structure and grammatical accuracy up to degree level - I have in the past helped with Law, English and French essays).
